In 2016-2017 Almagul Menlibayeva held a SOLO SHOW TRANSFORMATION at Grant Palais at Salon d'Honneur, Paris, France. The site-specific multi-screen installation, specially created for the Grand Palais Salon d'Honneur, invited to reflect on the major changes in the world affecting the country and the shaping the history of Kazakhstan. Between a chaotic Soviet past and a dazzling modernization, the country of steppes once populated by nomadic horsemen seeks to redefine its lost identity.
